    Jasper Landman

    Jasper, our executive leader, is the cornerstone of our theatre company. Doubling as a producer, he's also shown his prowess as a director with the notable 'Breaking the Code'. These days, Jasper is channelling his creativity into writing a new play, promising another thoughtful addition to our repertoire. His talent extends to photography too, capturing moments that define our theatrical journey.

    Alexandra Elroy

    As a co-founder and our artistic director, Alex is the creative force behind many of our plays. Her expertise lies in both writing original plays and adapting existing stories, a skill that adds depth and variety to our shows. Her artistic direction is a key ingredient in our company's success, bringing a unique touch to every production, most recently in the original play Off Grid.

    Anneloes Vermeer

    Anneloes, one of our founders, has been instrumental in shaping our company's direction. Initially an actress, she transitioned to focus on the essential offstage elements of production. Her role as a co-producer is pivotal in connecting various aspects of our productions, ensuring each performance runs smoothly.

    Julia Landau

    The backbone of our improv team, a talented actor, and the trusted secretary of the ETU. With a diverse background in dance, music, and theater, she brings a special flair to each performance, always delivering with genuine passion and skill. She is a founding member and dedicated leader of our improv group.

  • Max Philippi

    Max Philippi

    Max is a member of the board known for happily embodying the most eccentric roles on stage. He is also the creative force behind our colourful posters and creative materials, and manages the website and newsletters. His artistic vision enhances our promotional efforts and draws audiences into the world we create on stage.

    Chey is our social media expert.

  • Miriam Saridi

    Miriam’s involvement with ETU started when she joined the Improv Group in 2022. There she found a wonderful community that inspired her to become an actress in an ensemble play and later transition to producing. As a lead producer, she’s responsible for the offstage elements and logistics of the shows, as well as coordinating our talented and hardworking crew. While a drill sergeant on show days, she loves connecting with the people that ETU brings together all other times.

  • Rick Trinks

    Rick isn't on the board, he's been in a board at some time, but that's unrelated. Besides having done some other comedy and music stuff on stage, he's particularly proud of the improv stuff. Having been involved in the improv scene for a while, he has seen all sides of the improv-experience, he knows how fun is made, and is eager to pass on his enthusiasm and skill to the wonderful people of ETU.
