Off Grid

Lose sight of the mainland

Off Grid is an ETU original play written and directed by our artistic director Alexandra Elroy. The play features themes of environmentalism, isolation, cults, and a clash of ideals.

In a near future enveloped in thick smog, the action kicks off when tech pioneer and solar power entrepreneur Jones finds out his earlier business partner and current leader of a small island community, Hildegard, has died, and left the island leaderless.

Is now the time to reflect on his relationship with the cult leader, or the perfect opportunity to make a shrewd business move?

‘Shush now. Just leave it to us.’

Huminosity is here to provide what you’ve always known, and to make sure it will still be here thirty, forty, even seventy years from now.
