Call for Auditions: The Mysterious Murder at the Murder Mystery

English Theatre Utrecht
English Theatre Utrecht (ETU) is an amateur theatre initiative that brings English productions to the stage of Utrecht. It is our mission to connect the local & international residents of Utrecht and surroundings through a shared passion for theatre.
Past performances
English Theatre Utrecht (ETU) was founded in 2017, with their first production, the Jane Austen classic Pride & Prejudice hitting the theatre in early 2018. Performances of Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile in 2019, and an adaptation of One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest in 2020 followed. After the Covid-years, ETU restarted their productions with Dressed for Court (2023) – an original script based on the true events that also inspired the musical Chicago. Breaking the Code followed in summer 2023, a biographic drama about British mathematician and war hero Alan Turing.
Next to our current production, Dressed for Court, ETU has branched out to theatre workshops and improvisation classes.
